Terms of Use

1. About the service

Mahjong Live is an online four-player mahjong game operated by Superlabs Pty Ltd. Contact: hello@superlabs.com.au. The current game is free to play and offers no real-money wagering or cash prizes.

You must be 18 or older to use Mahjong Live.

2. Your account

Use your own sign-in and keep it secure. Choose a display name you are entitled to use. Do not impersonate someone, share access to evade restrictions, or use another person’s account. Tell the operator if you suspect unauthorised access. You can edit available details and preferences from your profile.

3. Rules and fair play

Check the table’s rules, turn pace, help settings and competitive status before joining. Hong Kong rules vary; Mahjong Live uses its stated Old Style preset with a 3 fan minimum. The server validates online moves and records results.

Do not cheat, collude, manipulate ratings, use unauthorised automation, exploit faults, harass other players, use unlawful or abusive profile content, or interfere with accounts or the service. Bots supplied by the game are labelled. Their games are unrated and kept separate from human ranked records.

Ratings and statistics belong to the relevant ruleset and competitive format. They are game records, not money, property or a guarantee of skill. A disconnected or closed account does not automatically cancel a game or erase its result.

4. Availability and interruptions

Online play needs a working connection. Turn clocks, inactivity and disconnect rules can affect your game. We aim to keep play reliable, but maintenance, faults and network problems can interrupt a session. Test versions may change or lose progress. This does not limit any rights or remedies you have under applicable law.

5. Moderation

To protect players and game integrity, the operator may investigate reports, pause or cancel affected tables, restrict abusive activity, or suspend an account for a breach of these terms. Actions should be proportionate to the issue. Where practical and lawful, the operator should explain a restriction and offer review through the public contact above. Urgent security action may need to happen first.

6. Content and ownership

The game’s software, branding and artwork are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. You may use the service for its intended purpose; these terms do not transfer ownership of it to you. Third-party components retain their own licences.

You retain rights you have in profile content you provide. You allow the operator to store and display that content only as needed to run, secure and moderate the service. Do not submit content you have no right to use.

7. Privacy and other services

The Privacy Policy draft explains the current data handling and unresolved launch details. Google sign-in and infrastructure providers have their own terms and privacy information. Any links to other services are provided for convenience.

8. Leaving the service

You can stop playing at any time. Use the account-closure controls when available or contact the operator. Closure may require a fresh sign-in, and some game results and security records remain linked to your player number. Local practice data stays in your browser until cleared. See the Privacy Policy draft for the current Test limitation on deletion from the sign-in provider.

9. Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies. The final terms must be reviewed for the operator’s circumstances and the places where the game is offered.

10. Changes and questions

We may update the game and its rules. Material changes to final terms should be explained with reasonable notice where practical and required by law. Changes should not unfairly remove rights relating to events that have already happened. Contact the operator to raise a concern or seek review.

[Operator location and any governing-law clause to be confirmed with legal review.] No country’s mandatory consumer or privacy rights are displaced by this placeholder.
